This week, campers will experience what it’s like to become a real scientist. Learn about different types of chemical reactions, how various substances are created and interact, discover the laws of physics, and test out experiments all week long. Campers will practice their scientific measurement skills, increase their knowledge about the universe and get up close and personal with some of the world’s coolest experiments. Working with an expert scientist, campers will be able to have fun with science and be challenged to learn as they create!
Why is this camp beneficial for my child?
From the crazy curious campers to the quiet ones, nothing is more intriguing than how our world works. This super scientist camp allows campers the chance to learn scientific facts with their own hands. Allow us to answer simple questions through experimentation. Campers will practice all types of experiments, be it chemical, physical or biological.
Campers will also benefit from Rideau Gymnastics’s facilities and participate in a variety of physical activities including games, trampoline, tumbling and stretching.
Is this workshop appropriate for my camper?
This camp is open to children between the ages of 9 and 11 and is specifically designed for campers who have not yet learned intensive science but have a big imagination!
