Our competitive groups are organized into four levels based on skill, strength, and readiness.

DEVELOPMENT
Build strength and basic obstacle literacy.
Typical training: 4–5 hours per week
Training focus
- obstacle fundamentals
- grip and strength development
- introductory timed courses
PROGRESSION
Athletes refine technique and tackle more complex obstacles. Begin to develop stronger and faster transitions.
Typical training: 5–6 hours per week
Training focus
- obstacle combinations
- stronger grip and upper body power
- improved course efficiency
PERFORMANCE
Training becomes more competition-focused with advanced obstacle challenges.
Typical training: 6–7 hours per week
Training focus
- advanced obstacle technique
- faster timed runs
- course strategy and transitions
ELITE
The highest training level within the program.
Typical training: 7+ hours per week
Training focus
- advanced obstacle mastery
- high-level strength benchmarks
- competition preparation and consistency
