Competitive Trampoline

Trampoline is an Olympic sport. It symbolizes freedom, flying and defying gravity. It is all about jumping, twisting, somersaults, and even multiple somersaults with twists performed one after another to form breathtaking routines. Trampolinists perform 10 skills in a routine and try to maintain maximum height throughout.

If you love to jump, flip and dream of flying then Trampoline is the sport for you. We offer programs to help any athlete regardless of experience or age. You will start building routines with a variety of different skills and learning your own rhythm. As your confidence grows the sky is the limit. Drills for skill development, strength, power and flexibility will also be included to help you meet your full potential. We can’t wait to watch you soar to new heights, gain new skills and achieve your goals.

If trampoline sounds like fun to you then come and be apart of our new program! Please contact our office for a tryout and see what competitive stream is best for you to start flying in.

Boys & Girls Pre-Competitive/Interclub

7 hours/week, ages 6-9, 9+

The pre-competitive trampoline program is an entry level program emphasizing the basics of the trampoline components. At this level, athletes as young as six years of age are selected to participate in the program based on spatial awareness, attentiveness and ability to make corrections. The pre-competitive program also provides an introduction to competition and performance. The goal of this program is to prepare the athlete for entrance into the Provincial Trampoline program.

Rideau Gymnastics Update

Dear Rideau Families,

Following the request made by all levels of government, all recreational and competitive training has been suspended until further notice.

We hope everyone is coping with the new, but hopefully short-lived, lifestyle norms.

To those that were registered to our March Break camp, please note that a credit will be applied to your account.

Furthermore, recreational athletes will be offered make-up training for sessions missed due to our temporary closure, once we reopen.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and support during these times.

We will continue to provide updates, as soon as new information is available.

Staying connected in these times is even more important than before, so we encourage everyone to keep in touch through the various online communication means that we are fortunate to have at our disposal.
