If you already love doing somersaults or cartwheels, you’ll find tumbling really easy to get into-whatever age you are. You’ll start by learning how it feels to perform simple tricks and as your technique and confidence grows you’ll learn to perform amazing sequences of flips and twists. Our Power Tumbling classes are 1.5-2 hours in length and focus on developing physical ability and tumbling skills on the rod floor, Tumble Trak and trampoline. Beginners will focus primarily on basic tumbling skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels and round offs. Drills and progressions will also be used to introduce and learn front/back Handsprings and front/back saltos, with the assistance of trampolines and spotting. Groups demonstrating intermediate abilities will begin to bring their tumbling skills to the floor as well as using drills for learning to connect tumbling skills. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience in gymnastics, dance or any athletic experience, its easy to get started with tumbling; not to mention a whole lot of fun!
