🎄 Gymnastics Christmas Party – December 21! 🎅
Get ready for a holly-jolly, action-packed Christmas Party at Rideau Gymnastics! This 2-hour holiday event (5:30–7:30pm) is the perfect way for kids to burn off energy, play with friends, and dive into festive fun—while YOU enjoy a well-deserved break. Sneak in some Christmas shopping, tackle a few chores, or simply savour a quiet moment before the holiday rush.
Kids will rotate through exciting gym stations—bars, beams, trampolines, obstacle courses, and Christmas-themed games—led by our amazing coaches. Pizza dinner is included! No gymnastics experience needed—just comfy clothes, a water bottle, and lots of Christmas cheer!

🥷🔥 Ninja Obstacle Competition — December 6
Get ready to FLY! Our brand-new Ninja Obstacle Zone is officially launching, and we’re celebrating with an open competition for all ages — kids, teens, and adults!
Take on fresh ninja courses, race the clock, and compete for prizes, swag, and bragging rights.
Divisions (Max 20 competitors each):
Div 1: Ages 5–8 • 8:00–10:30 AM
Div 2: Ages 9–12 • 10:45–1:15 PM (tentative)
Div 3: Ages 13–17 • 1:00–3:30 PM (tentative)
Div 4: Adults 18+ • 3:00–5:30 PM (tentative)
⏳ Times may shift based on earlier divisions finishing

Prerequisites: To make sure athletes can REALLY work on getting their BHS or aerial, participants must already be able to do a cartwheel + roundoff, back limber/walkover, bridge, and demonstrate control in a handstand (brief hold or stable kick-up).
Only 10 spots per coach — don’t miss it!

Join us for a special evening with Brenna Casey—Olympian, physiotherapist, and athletic therapist—designed to help athletes and parents learn practical strategies for injury prevention and long-term wellness.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Brenna’s interactive workshop will include hands-on demos and expert tips to help you:
- Prevent injuries with strategies tailored for gymnastics and trampoline athletes
- Recognize early signs of overuse and know how to respond
- Learn exercises and stretches to boost performance and reduce risk
- Support athletes’ health for long-term success
With her extensive experience working with high-performance athletes, Brenna brings both professional expertise and a deep passion for athlete care. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a top professional in the field.
Cost: $25 per family — whether that’s one parent and one athlete or the whole family. We especially encourage parents to come with their athlete (particularly younger ones) so you can learn and practice together.

Rideau is more than just a gym. It’s a place where all of our kids learn succeed (and sometimes fail) and chase big dreams (like Courtney heading to Worlds 🌍🤸).
